Points from victory

It is the minimum number of consecutive points a player would need to win the match from the current score, assuming their opponent wins none. A player begins 72 points away in a best-of-five match or 48 away in a best-of-three match.

Matches are ordered first by how close the eventual loser came to victory. Ties are broken by the number of high-pressure points—when both players were within 12 consecutive points of winning—then by late lead changes, deciding-set tiebreaks, and deciding sets.

A comeback is the largest gap the eventual winner overcame between the two points-from-victory lines. Ties are broken by how close the loser came to victory, then by high-pressure points and late lead changes.

Each line uses a color from that player’s national flag. When two countries’ primary colors are too similar, the chart chooses the most distinct pairing from their flag palettes. Same-country matchups use two flag colors and a dashed second line.
